BoatSmart: Your On-Water Confidence Builder

Just completed, or looking to complete the Marine Licencing Course? New to boating, or want to brush up on your boating knowledge of on water rules and reg’s?

Our BoatSmart course offers the perfect opportunity to put theory into practice! This two-hour on-water session is designed for small groups, ensuring each student gets a turn on the wheel. You’ll learn the essentials of safe boating, in alignment with the Victorian Recreational Boating Safety Handbook, including understanding markers, emergency procedures, anchoring, basic manoeuvring/handling, and navigation—all under the guidance of our experienced instructor.

This course is a perfect companion to Gippsland Boat Trainings Marine Licence courses, so whether you’re new to boating or looking to boost your confidence on the water, this course will see you come away with the skills and knowledge to feel safe and in control.

The BoatSmart Course is run on the beautiful Gippsland Lakes of Lakes Entrance with our skilled and professional instructor Ryan, who has over 30 years experience on the water.
